The following is a tentative timeline for the procurement of Professional Design Services as the “Lead Design Firm.”

The dates below are estimates and subject to change.

• January 2025 - The Request for Qualifications is released and advertised.
• February/March 2025 - Statement of Qualifications submissions are evaluated and scored.
• March 12, 2025 - Announcement of the three shortlisted firms: BNIM, Hoefer Welker Architecture, and HDR Architecture.
• April 3 & 4, 2025 - Interviews/Presentations from the three qualified firms.
• April 2025 - Score the presentations.
• April/May 2025 - A Request for Proposal is issued.
• June 2, 2025 - Architect/Engineer Request for Proposal issued to Qualification Based on Selection 1, HDR Architecture.
• June 12, 2025 - Architect/Engineer Pre-Proposal Meeting.
• June 30, 2025 - Anticipated draft of proposal expected.
• Mid July 2025 - Anticipated Agreement executed.
• Early August 2025 - Anticipated Release for Request for Qualification for Construction Manager at Risk expected.
• October 3, 2025 - Design consultant contract fully executed.
• October 14, 2025 - A design kick-off meeting at the Center for Behavioral Medicine (CBM). After the kick-off, the first programming meeting began, which included the design contractor HDR, CBM’s programming team, University Health’s programming team and OA-FMDC’s project management team. 
• November 4, 2025 - Closing on the land conveyed from Kansas City.
